The pub is only a five-minute walk from the town centre and can be reached by walking to the end of Old Town Street or scenically by following the river path from the seafront and emerging through the Manor grounds to join Old Town Street. Simply turn left as you emerge and the Swan Inn is a one-minute walk away. The walk will be worthwhile when you are greeted by a traditional pub dating from c1642 with the best beer garden in town. Landlord and Landlady Mark & Sue are very welcoming, keep excellent beers and the local customers are especially friendly.
